FODL Co-Presidents December Letter
Dear Friends,
Dear Friends, It’s hard to believe that we are nearly half way through the school year, it seems like just yesterday we were filled with anxiety about the start of a new year. We hope that everyone who attended our November and December meetings found our speakers to be informative and helpful. We try to select topics and speakers that are relevant to the concerns our members have raised. We are always seeking suggestions for future speakers and urge you to contact any one of the board members with areas of interest or specific speakers.
In lieu of a January meeting, we will again be hosting our annual camp and resource fair. Given the expansion of the event, we will be moving the fair to Groves High School to allow for more space and opportunity to network. Please be sure to mark your calendars for January 15, 2009 at 7:00pm. This is an excellent opportunity to begin thinking about summer planning as well as to discuss your child’s unique needs with program representatives.
We both wish all of you a peaceful holiday season and thank you for your continued support of Friends of Different Learners. We look forward to seeing you in January.
